The final semester is the culmination of practical preparation for usefulness to the community. It represents an integration of academic training, biblical reasoning, and skills appropriate to communicate wisdom and knowledge to others in the chosen area of professional focus.
Academic synthesis focuses on current cultural issues in the field of study. Each student develops and presents a culturally relevant thesis.
The professional practicum consists of one of the following activities related to the professional focus chosen by the student:
1. apprentice in a church or Christian ministry
2. apprentice in a counseling ministry
3. write a research paper for publication
4. write a creative piece for publication
5. mentor in journalism
6. mentor in teaching
7. launch a small business
